Naturopathic Physician (Patient Engagement Clinician)

Schedule: Hybrid Schedule. 8-hour day shift. No nights, no weekends, and no major holidays.
About the Role:
The Patient Engagement Clinician serves as a key connector between the initial intake process and active care. After the front-end team conducts an initial phone screening, prospective patients meet with you via teleconsultation. During these visits, your goal is to understand their health needs, provide education about available care options, and help them determine whether to begin with remote telemedicine care or transition into the inpatient facility for advanced treatment.
This position is focused on patient guidance, education, and trust-building. The right candidate will confidently communicate the organization’s approach to integrative and precision-based care, while creating a compassionate environment that supports patients in taking the next step toward recovery and wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct teleconsultations with prospective patients following intake screening calls.
- Build meaningful connections and guide patients through the care decision process with professionalism and empathy.
- Educate patients on integrative treatment pathways and the continuum of care available through both telemedicine and the inpatient facility.
- Assess patient needs, readiness, and appropriateness for various care programs.
- Collaborate closely with intake, clinical, and telemedicine teams to ensure seamless patient transitions.
- Maintain clear documentation and communication within the internal care coordination systems.
- Participate in refining and improving patient engagement and onboarding processes.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Naturopathic Doctor (ND) in good standing.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to connect authentically and compassionately.
- Experience with patient consultations, telemedicine, or integrative medicine preferred.
- Confident and professional presence when engaging with patients remotely.
- Ability to learn complex healthcare systems and convey information effectively.
- Passionate about helping patients make informed decisions that lead to improved health outcomes.
